Classy Cristie Kerr

I'm really just putting Cristie Kerr because I haven't featured her in a while. But then why not? After all, she did very well last week, scoring in the high chips of the top ten, and is again doing well this week way down in my home state of Texas, where she is in a tie for second at the North Texas LPGA Shootout as I type his.

Doesn't that light blue bring out her eyes? She's a cagey veteran, and that should stand her in good stead as this tourney progresses. Sic 'em, Cristie!

Yes, I laid it on the line and predicted Cristie Kerr would win . . . and she didn't let me down. I pocketed some nice change and she pocketed a cool $330,000! Natalie Gulbis sure was statuesque strutting about the course, I daresay.

Cristie Kerr is so methodical in how she handles herself on the course. She methodically goes through her pre-shot routine (lining up the shot, etc.) with absolute precision, rather like an assassin piecing together his sniper rifle & scope, getting ready to take out his target . . . and Cristie's aim is every bit as deadly. She is the "Beautiful Assassin" of the LPGA.
